GreenerShip is a European initiative designed to foster sustainable entrepreneurship and advance gender equality within the Renewable Energy sector and vocational education (VET). By combining innovative training resources with strategic collaboration between education and industry, GreenerShip empowers individuals to actively contribute to the green economy.
The project will deliver two comprehensive curriculum frameworks aligned with ECVET standards, featuring:
-6 modules on green skills development, and
-4 modules focused on gender equality in the green sector.
In addition, GreenerShip will develop a digital toolkit and thematic modules to support green entrepreneurial skills.
These resources will be pilot-tested across multiple countries to ensure relevance and impact at a European level.Through targeted training programs, educational materials, and multiplier events, GreenerShip will:
-Enhance the entrepreneurial competencies of learners,
-Strengthen partnerships between VET institutions and businesses, and
-Promote the visibility and attractiveness of green VET pathways.
The project aims to achieve:
-The creation of innovative vocational training materials,
-Increased awareness and engagement in green entrepreneurship,
-The empowerment of underrepresented groups, especially women, and
-The establishment of a sustainable European network promoting inclusive and environmentally responsible economic growth.
